If you're a breastfeeding mama you know the hunger can be real. That's why we're starting a new blog series that focuses on meal planning for breastfeeding moms. Each meal plan contains foods that are considered galactogogues, aka, foods that help with milk supply. We'll also include easy ways to incorporate one of our lactation products into your day if you need an extra boost. We're hoping this inspires you to cook up something great for the whole family to enjoy.
We hope you love this new OM series as much as we do! Tell us your favorite recipes (with links!) in the comments. We love hearing other mom's go-to meals while breastfeeding. It's how we can mother together. xo Eliza & Kristy

“Right here is the right blog for anyone who would like to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I personally would want toÖHaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that has been discussed for ages. Excellent stuff, just wonderful!”

“An intriguing discussion is definitely worth comment. I think that you need to publish more about this topic, it may not be a taboo subject but typically people do not speak about these subjects. To the next! Cheers!!”

This is amazing and so helpful! I hope it’s a series that continues to share meal ideas :) my favorite recipe right now while in the dual season of breastfeeding AND winter on the horizon is a veggie soup. Most often keeping it veggie, but sometimes we add in sausage.
1 lb. Italian sausage, casings removed. Fry and cut into bits, and remove. Saute veggies with salt and pepper (carrot, onion, celery, mushroom or whatever you have on hand) until soft. Meanwhile, cook diced potatoes. When veggies are soft, add broth of some kind (I use veggie) and lots of basil, oregano, thyme, whatever you want. Bay leaves are yummy :) Add potatoes and meat. Add chopped spinach or kale at the end.
